Brawl Stars will be getting a Halloween update and with the update comes a totally new Brawler. Say hello to Emz!
Emz is a Common Brawler and is the 30th Brawler in Brawl Stars. Her looks brings Mortis to mind and Mortis is in fact her uncle! Emz uses her hairspray as attack, which deals a low but highly poisonous damage. Her Super is called Caustic Charisma and is a poison cloud which can deal damage to multiple enemies.

A new game update has been released with game balances and plenty of new stuff!
First off a new Brawler has been revealed: Carl. He is a little robot that throws a pickaxe that returns like a boomerang. His super is called Tailspin where he increases his speed and starts to whirl his axe in a 360 degree radius damaging everyone around him. Carl is a Super Rare Brawler and is coming ”later in March” according to the officials.
Another new thing in the update is a new game mode called Siege, a 3v3 game where each team has a home base that can defend itself with a cannon, and the goal is to destroy the enemy base.
A week ago a new Brawler named Gene was revealed. He is a purple genie with a magic lamp that shoots smoke. And I suspect he might be related to Tara.
He is a medium ranged support Brawler with quite a long loading time. His Super is rather unique: He shoots a Magic hand from his lamp that drags the enemy towards him. This will be a good way of getting enemies that hide in the bushes!
His Star Power is called Magic puffs, where he heals team mates around him for 100 health points per second. Quite a versatile Brawler in my opinion!

Ever since Leon was released a month ago players have argued if he simply is too good against other Brawlers? Will we see a weaker Leon after the next balance update of the game?
Leon is very fast with a movement speed of 820, the same speed as Mortis and Crow. But when he uses his Star Power Smoke Trails and goes invisible he gets a whooping 24% speed boost up to 1017! With a Super speed of 1017 this means that Leon is in fact the fastest Brawler in the game at times and quick players can take advantage of this. By a lot of practicing of course!

Leon’s main attack is four spinning blades that deal a lot of damage if all blades hit. The blades have a long range, same as Colt‘s, but makes less damage the further they go. To maximize the damage Leon must get as close as possible to his opponent and make sure all four blades hit. This takes a lot of aiming precision and again a lot of practicing to master! His damage is from longest to shortest: 208, 324, 436, 554, and 676. That means that the maximum damage with one attack from up close is a total of 2704, which is very good.
Super
Leon’s Super is turning invisible for 6 seconds. He can not be seen by enemy Brawlers even if he goes through them. The invisibility stops if Leon attacks, and he will be revealed for a brief moment if an enemy brawler hits him, just like if you’re hiding in a bush. As mentioned earlier his speed is also increased while invisible.
Leon’s super is most effective against long-range sniper Brawlers, where he can use his Super to get in close to the snipers without being seen. Then he can fire his blade shots once emerging from his invisibility. If all four blades hit he will take out any Sniper Brawler.
Hiding in the bushes can be effective in Showdown.
Tips on playing Leon
Leon is best used against long-range sniper Brawlers if you get close to your opponent. If all four blades hit on close range he will take out any Sniper Brawler.
Leon is very good in Showdown. Try searching for people who are already engaged in combat and wait until they are both low on health. Leon then can be effective finishing off both players or the winning brawler and then collect both cubes.
Leon can be weak against tanks and shotgunners. To be most effective Leon has to get really close to his opponent, which is very risky against these kinds of Brawlers.
